*Location: Lijiang City is located in the northwestern portion of Yunnan and borders Sichuan.
It is in a region where the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau converge. With
an altitude of 2,500 meters, Lijiang has a tranquil natural environment. The Jade Dragon Snow
Mountain with average altitude of 4,500 meters is a small mountain range in Yunnan province
just north of Lijiang city.
*Climate and Clothing: May is the best month in Lijiang for trip, since it is rarely rainy. The
average temperature is around 180C-220C and the average temperature on Jade Dragon Snow
Mountain is 100C. Under the Large temperature difference between morning and evening, it
is recommended to prepare a cardigan or a jacket.
